Jackson's results haven't changed since the report week, we are waiting for the results from UCLA and that will tell us more about the bone marrow. As for Jackson, he didn't have to go to the hospital last week and that makes all of us really happy. He did get to go steelhead fishing this weekend, but we didn't catch anything this time. Both the boys are ready for Thanksgiving and excited about the company.

We hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and cherish the time you have with your families. God Bless.

The most recent news is that the bone marrow looks really good the doctor said, but she said that the bone scan still detects a problem in the thigh. We are praying that we can get this taken care of, due to the severity of cancer on the bone. We will keep you posted on the tests that are down in UCLA right now.

We are very happy today, as we have been doing well so far on the tests. Jackson had his two days of tests and scans this week and the doctor said that on the news so far, she couldn't be happier. She said that there is still a small mass of cells where the tumors are, but she can't tell if they are dead or alive at this time and would need to take a biopsy to determine. We will be getting the bone marrow results and the bone scan in the next few days and then in two weeks from UCLA we get the complete results of the bone marrow test. Going forward, Jackson is going to receive two more rounds of chemo and then we will go from there, but he is doing real well with the chemo at this time.

For all of you that have been praying for Jackson, we will always be in debt to you. I ask that you continue to help this miracle keep going. We are often asked how we can keep going with all of this. I would reply that when this all started three years ago our spiritual strength was weak at best and it was almost unbearable. This time we continue to do our best to gain knowledge about Jackson's cancer and deal with all of his trials, but our spiritual strength has grown so much that we find much more comfort in the hard times.

Jackson is having the week off from chemo. Next week he will have another round of chemo and two full days of tests. These tests are very important for us. We are hoping and praying that the results are very positive, as he will be getting all of the tests that will show bone marrow content, the size and content of the tumors and if anything else has shown up in his body.

We have prayed every night for a long time that these results will come back with a good result. Each night our family prays together before the kids go to bed. Each night we take turns and one of the most touching things I have ever seen is Jackson praying for himself that his cancer will go away and never come back. As if that isn't rough enough, Wyatt prays for his brother's cancer each time also. There are so many people in need of help that we pray for many and God willing our prayers will be answered.

Last week was Jackson's tough week and we are sure happy that he didn't have to stay in the hospital. Usually he gets a fever and has to enter the hospital for at least a few days. Our prayers were answered and he got to stay home where he would much rather be, he even attended school the entire week. Next week he will start chemo again, but this week he gets to be normal. His biggest trials coming up are the tests on Nov. 8th. This is the most important thing we have done in a long time. We will find out how the chemo is doing on the bone marrow and the tumors. Lord willing he will be free of this cancer that has changed his life so much.

As for the rest of us, we are just plugging along. Wyatt is doing well in school and says that a couple of the girls are trying to kiss him already, if it's the other way around I suspect we will be getting a call soon.

Jackson had an uneventful week last week with his chemo. It sounds like we will be having all of his tests done on Nov. 8th. These tests as stated before are very important. This weekend at church, in front of everyone, Jackson shaved our pastor's head. He did it for one of our members going through chemo. It was quite a sight watching Jackson do this and very comical.

In the next couple days, Jackson will start feeling run down and possibly go into the hospital from the chemo last week. We sure hope that he can stay out of the hospital, but there isn't much we can do to prevent it. Jackson and Wyatt are both liking school now and even play together on recess. Wyatt even plays with Jackson's friends when Jackson is gone--we are working on that one. The boys are both looking forward to hunting and it won't be long before we are laying in a field calling geese or on the banks of the river calling ducks.
